Did I mention that it has been raining for a week? One day I wanted to make spicy turkey chili, but did not want to venture out into the rain for Cannellini beans. Spicy turkey chili seemed like a great rainy day comfort food. I poked around the cupboards and discovered a container of chocolate bits for the fondue set. As far as a substitute for spicy turkey chili, well, I'm not sure I was as satisfied. However, everyone else was very happy and dug right it. We did venture into the rainy yard to pick strawberries for the fondue. That was a well-worth it feat! They were delicious dipped into the chocolate.
